Privacy policy

This website, makeupbynadeen.com, is run by Nadeen Safadi, trading as Makeup by Nadeen (“we”, “us”), a makeup artist based in Israel and working internationally.

When you send a booking request we collect what you enter in the form:

• your name and phone number (WhatsApp);
• your email address, if you choose to give it;
• the occasion, date, the time you need to be ready, number of people and location of your event;
• any notes you add, and the language you used on the site.

If you message us on WhatsApp or by email, we also receive what you send us.

Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and keep it secure.

We do not use advertising or analytics trackers, and the site does not collect payment details.

We use your information to:

• reply to your request and confirm availability;
• plan and provide your makeup services and manage your booking;
• keep the records we need for accounting and legal purposes;
• protect the website against spam and misuse.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, our legal bases are taking steps at your request before a booking, performing the booking, our legitimate interest in running and securing our business, and legal obligations.

Providing your name, phone number, event date and location is necessary for us to respond to you; everything else is optional. You are not legally required to provide any of it.

We do not sell your information and we do not use it for third-party marketing.

We use service providers who process it on our behalf: a hosting provider (Vercel) to run the website and a database provider (Supabase) to store booking requests. When you tap the button to send your request on WhatsApp, WhatsApp (Meta) handles that message under its own privacy policy.

We may disclose information if the law requires it or to protect our rights.

Our providers operate servers outside Israel, including in Singapore. We use providers that apply contractual and technical safeguards, and we share with them only what is needed for the service.

We keep booking requests and related messages for as long as we need them to respond, to provide and manage your booking, and to meet legal and accounting requirements. After that we delete or anonymise them. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.

Booking requests are sent over an encrypted connection, stored in a database that is not publicly accessible, and can be viewed only by us after signing in. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. It stores only a small functional cookie that remembers your language choice. The sign-in cookie in our admin area is used only by us.

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, as provided by the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 1981.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom you also have the right to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, to withdraw consent where we rely on it, and to complain to your local data protection authority.

We do not send marketing messages. We use your contact details only to answer you about your booking, unless you ask to hear from us about something else.

This website is not directed at children under 16. If you are booking for a child, please contact us through a parent or guardian.

Our website links to Instagram, TikTok and WhatsApp. They have their own privacy policies and we are not responsible for them.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
